There is a limited supply of Hoodia Gordonii. Worldwide demand for Hoodia Gordonii, combined with the efforts of the South African government to protect an endangered plant has created a huge smuggling business in other species of Hoodia.. Effective January 12, 2005, ‘all species of Hoodia were listed on CITES Appendix II … and therefore subject to certain regulations.”
Because of the scarcity of the true Hoodia Gordonii supply, we urge you to order right away. We do have a sufficient supply at this time, but we cannot guarantee for how long. The South African government could change its mind at any time, the crop could fail, or it could become prohibitively expensive
