Use fresh herbs for more flovor

Fresh herbs offer a 1-2 punch: Great taste and powerful protection! Next time you cook out, leave the salt shaker on the shelf and pick fresh herbs like basil, turmeric, ginger and parsley to punch up the flavor of beef, chicken or fish on the barbie!  These herbs and spices have antioxidant levels that are absolutely through-the-roof and they’re known for their amazing anti-carcinogenic properties.
 
Basil is loaded with monoterpenoids. These flavor and aroma compounds fight cancer in a variety of ways. They not only stimulate the enzymes that detoxify carcinogens, but they may also kill tumor cells. Basil pesto is the way to go because you get about 1/2 cup of this amazing herb per serving.
